Who We Are

Pam Cormack, also the founder of Lothian Childcare Solutions Ltd, a childcare agency here in Scotland has worked in childcare for over 25 years including 10 years as an inspector with the Care Inspectorate until 2017. Her knowledge of childcare and the legislation for this in Scotland is excellent; she is happy to support those working in early learning and childcare when ever she can. Lots of childcare services who already work with us are benefitting from chatting to Pam.

Payroll Manager, Steven Keenan, has over 20 years payroll experience across different sectors. He has managed large and small payroll departments, built payroll systems and trained small, medium and large companies on how to to process payrolls. Steven is extremely knowledgeable on all things related to payroll, including HMRC, pensions and statutory payments.

Both Pam and Steven are extremely passionate about helping and supporting people especially related to care and payroll, always going that extra mile to ensure that clients get the service they need and deserve.

Our Costs

We want to be very transparent with our costs to keep things simple

Below you will see an overview of how we calculate our fees:

Payroll processing is calculated at £5.50 per payslip
We charge £5.00 per month for your pension submission (this increases with the number of employees – get in touch for details)
We charge £2 for each P60 and any related work, which must be issued in April each year at the financial year end (this is a one-off yearly cost per employee).
We charge £2 for each P45 required. This includes sending final submissions for an employee to HMRC.
We charge £10 per month to pay ALL your employees directly on your behalf.
Invoices are sent one month in arrears, once the previous month is complete.
We will also arrange the transfer of payroll from another provider free of charge.
